About Cosmoshop NZ

Cosmoshop NZ is an Auckland-based, online-first retailer of watches, eyewear, jewellery and accessories. The business began in 2022 after co-founders Henry and James met at university and worked as web designers for a local jewellery store.

We focus on genuine products, competitive pricing and practical local support.

How Cosmoshop started

Cosmoshop initially sold overstock from a local jeweller. As the business grew, we built relationships with New Zealand and Australian distributors, added authorised-dealer brands and introduced Auckland pickup.

Our growth

2022: Cosmoshop NZ began as a university side project.
2023: Cosmoshop Partnership was formed, cosmoshop.co.nz launched and we began working with New Zealand distributors.
2024: The range expanded to include official stockist relationships for Boccia, Rochet and Disney products.
2025: We opened our first Auckland office, added express pickup and expanded our authorised watch and eyewear range.
2026: Cosmoshop (Tapui) Limited was formed and the business became GST registered. Citizen, Bulova and Ryze were added to our authorised-dealer range.

How we keep prices competitive

We operate online rather than maintaining a traditional walk-in retail store.
We buy selected products in volume and source suitable overstock and end-of-line opportunities.
We work with established New Zealand and Australian supply channels.
Our Auckland team provides product, pickup, returns and warranty support.
